People love to post about waiting using social media. But Kr’s kind of waiting is different than other kinds of waiting. Here are a few examples of ‘other kinds of waiting’ that show up in my feed: - Waiting for a delayed airplane - Waiting to hear back about a new job - Waiting for a friend at a coffee shop But speaking of waiting … Most people I know tend to wait to announce their pregnancy until the 2nd trimester. Which is why I’d rather wait for a city bus on a cold day than hear about Kr’s late period and upcoming doctor’s appointment. It’s kind of like she’s punking her friends. ‘Waiting to see if I’m pregnant OR just having a glitch in my menstrual cycle!!’ might be more “appropriate.” (submitted by Anonymous)
